Dengue Fever: Dengue Fever in Pakistan, Dengue Fever Definition, Symptoms, Causes and Treatment in Urdu – What is Dengue Fever? Dengue fever is a disease transmitted by a mosquito bite. It is a viral life threatening disease and lasts from 2 to 7 days.
Dengue Fever Causes: Dengue fever (Known as Dengi Bukhar in Pakistan) is also known as break bone (کمر توڑ بخار) fever, is an infectious tropical disease caused by the dengue virus. Dengue fever is caused by one of four different but related viruses.
Dengue Fever Symptoms: Dengue fever begins with a sudden high fever, often as high as 104 – 105 degrees Fahrenheit. A flat, red rash may appear over most of the body 2 – 5 days after the fever starts. A second rash, which looks like the measles, appears later in the disease. Infected people may have increased skin sensitivity and are very uncomfortable. Headache, Fatigue, Muscle aches, Nausea, Swollen lymph nodes and Vomiting are some other symptoms of dengue fever.
Dengue Fever Treatment: There is no specific treatment for dengue fever. Patient will need fluids if there are signs of dehydration and should avoid taking aspirin. The most important thing about dengue fever is to take care and try to kill all kinds of mosquitoes.
